Photo of Alvaro Jaramillo Colombia

Alvaro Jaramillo, a Colombian artist, painted six years old his first picture, a picture was somewhat abstract and explosive color notebook paper, and it sold for two dollars to his father. Since then he has stopped painting but, gripped by a strange and unjustified complex subsidiary, decided not to sell any of their works. Thus, for years to friends and family gave her watercolors, oil paintings and later even his most recent paintings format, where the oil combines with other techniques. Among paintings and spatulas, Jaramillo attended and completed his studies in architecture and has worked for three decades the profession - for which fortunately has always accepted fees - with a passion for the brick, wood and the curved line that characterizes its beautiful buildings. Jaramillo boxes are, above all, a search through color temperatures. Have influenced this as being a man of the plateau, under distant suns, dense fogs and hot neighborhoods, and his love for the Spanish plateau, which has seen walking long distances by La Mancha and Extremadura. Lights and "climate" of these landscapes are present in his painting. The cold Castilian ocher, gray heads out of the wilderness and the red warmth of the coffee region. In his obsession to add texture to the weather, work has refined the spatula in the oil until a third dimension on the plans. After more than thirty years, Alvaro Jaramillo finally overcomes complex BELIEVE prostitute who sells art, and for the first time has decided to offer their works beyond his personal environment. It is a fortunate decision that allows us all about your collection "Reflections", ordered otherwise, the limited enjoyment of a few. Daniel Samper Pizano
